Art Jameel Summer Camp, we did 2 different sessions where kids learned how to fold zines, fill them with content some of them experimental and redistributing their zines via photocopier.

Our first booth, and experience in physically-existing participation was in Art Dubai, part of UAE NOW. Thank you Munira, for this opportunity. Thank you booth neighbours for everything when we were stressed out. Thank you friends for support and laughs. Thank you strangers for making this an unforgettable couple of days. Thank you guy who gave us extra coffee and cookies when we were starving.
Hosted by Sharjah Art Foundation, participants created their own care packages and postcards from content manifested after a trip around SAF neighbourhood.
We later took a trip to the post office to send our packages and postcards.
Hosted by Dubai Design District, participants created a zine and incorporated their reimagined photographs into them.

We were back with another zine workshop in collaboration by the incredible community program team in Sharjah Art Foundation. Incredible turnout and creations.

In collaboration with the Sharjah Art Foundation, hosted by Dubai Design District, participants curated their own care packages that included handmade pins (from clay) and repurposed photographs to create original one-of-a-kind postcards.
We can't think of a better way to start our year. In collaboration with SAF, we held a zine making workshop. We walked around #SAFneighbourhood, explored, observed and documented our surroundings in several methods that included but weren't limited to photography and illustrations.

After exploring the SAF neighbourhood, we regrouped in SAF's magical urban garden and started creating zines.
We'd like to thank Sharjah Art Foundation for this opportunity, and personally thank Hessa Ajmani for creating this excellent community programme, that encourages humans to explore and (sometimes, experimentally) document surroundings. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, seeing things through your lens was incredibly overwhelming.
